If you ask Tricia when she realized that she had a knack for home-making, she would say without hesitation, “from birth!” The youngest of four children in an Irish-Scottish home in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Tricia grew up with many big family traditions. Some of her fondest childhood memories are baking in the kitchen with her mother. Holidays were especially significant as the Greeley clan did everything from scratch – coloring Easter eggs, making their own Christmas ornaments, and special holiday desserts. Large Sunday dinners with multitudes of courses, and family get-togethers provided Tricia with many opportunities to develop her culinary skills, particularly baking, a talent she credits to her Gramma Greeley. Her Black Moons, made from one of her grandmother’s secret recipes, are among her most popular treats.
Her motto is, do-it-yourself – as she puts it;
“If I can do it, anyone can”
She certainly makes it look easy!
