Healthy Nut Granola

I have been having some health issues and I have finally taken some steps to try and fix my gut biome. I started a new food plan in March to eat healthier it’s basically a Paleo diet. I wanted to see if this would help me.

Well I have to say a very big YES. I have noticed a real difference in my body shape, I am not puffy or bloated anymore I do feel so much better.

I talked about this in a video chat to give you all the back history and why I chose to go this route. I will put the link below so you can click on it and get all the info.

So this granola is Paleo it’s made with nuts not oats and it has coconut sugar vs. regular white cane sugar.

I absolutely love it over my coconut yogurt and berries, I am going to make a video of how to make this yummy granola so you all can enjoy it as well.

  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 cups mixed nuts of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coriander

Pre-heat oven to 300’ line baking sheet with tinfoil and spray with avocado oil or any non-stick spray

Whisk together egg white and water until frothy and to the nuts and toss to coat

In separate bowl mix together sugar and spices

Then add the sugar/spice mixture to the nuts coated with egg whites and toss to coat

Spread nuts evenly on prepared baking sheet then bake for 20 minutes

After 20 minutes, toss the nuts and rotate cookie sheet

Put back in oven for another 15-20 minutes

Wait for nuts to cool, then break apart and store in an air tight container for up to 3 weeks.

Enjoy
